CARA work crew at ACBML

Participants in the CARA (Criminogenic Addiction Recovery Program) are shown at the Albert Church Brown Memorial Library in China Village in September. The participants repaired and painted shutters, continuing work done by CARA crews in the past year.  Thank you to these hard-working folks!

The Albert Church Brown Memorial Library sends a huge thank you to:

Thanks to the fearless crew, we have a new roof to go with our new insulation!

The Town Line has a write up about the roofing.

We have been very fortunate to receive a $20.000 Steven and Tabatha King grant to insulate the library. This will help to reduce our cost of operation as fully 18% of our budget has historically gone to heating.

We continue to paint the upstairs rooms so the children’s book collection is newly rearranged by librarian Mary Grow. Come see our fresh new look!

The library offers free WiFi available inside and on a brand  new memorial bench outside the library!
